FOREXMAX RESEARCH
Research Methodology | ForexMax
How ForexMax Research verifies sources, compares providers, assesses risk evidence, and updates financial-market research.
Research, not regulation.
ForexMax is an independent research and media publication. This page explains how we gather public information, compare third-party providers, describe uncertainty, and keep a research assessment separate from an official regulatory rating.
What we publish
Market commentary, trading education, broker and prop-firm comparisons, technical audits, and macro research. The site does not operate a broker, manage client funds, hold customer accounts, or provide personalized investment advice.
Evidence labels
Observed directly checked on a source or page. Reported stated by a provider or community source. Unverified not independently confirmed. Deferred requires a data provider or server-side pipeline.
Our research workflow
1. Define the question
We identify the search intent and the decision a reader is trying to make, then define the fields that can be compared without implying equivalence where none exists.
2. Collect and cross-check
We prefer primary sources, official documents, provider terms, regulator records, and clearly dated public evidence. Secondary sources are used as leads and labelled accordingly.
3. Separate fact from view
Observed facts, provider claims, community reports, and editorial interpretation are kept distinct. Missing evidence is shown as missing rather than filled with an estimate.
ForexMax Research Assessment
Where a provider has enough evidence, a future assessment may summarize transparency, operational continuity, rule clarity, payout evidence, platform/execution evidence, jurisdictional context, complaint-resolution evidence, and data freshness. The output is an editorial research assessment, not a license, certification, guarantee, or official regulatory rating.
Proposed evidence weights
- Transparency and ownership disclosure — 20%
- Operational continuity — 15%
- Rules clarity and complexity — 15%
- Payout evidence — 15%
Additional dimensions
- Platform and execution evidence — 10%
- Jurisdiction and regulatory context — 10%
- Complaint resolution evidence — 10%
- Data freshness — 5%
Important: A provider receives “Assessment pending” until the underlying evidence is sufficiently documented. A number is never used to hide uncertainty.
Comparisons and updates
Comparison tables normalize only fields that are meaningfully comparable, such as evaluation type, platform, drawdown model, or published fee. Rules that differ by plan remain labelled as plan-dependent. Each data record should include a source and a last-reviewed date. Material changes, corrections, and broken links should be reported to djamal@forexmax.com.
Live prices, economic calendars, COT dashboards, and rate trackers are not presented as live features until an appropriate provider, license, update pipeline, and server-side secret handling are in place.
